Strawberry, Mint, & Mascarpone Cheese Toast!!
This sweet, savory, and beautiful dish is my
“toast to moms’
recipe for all the amazing moms out there.
Moms are the best and celebrating them with a home-cooked meal or treat is great gift if you ask me. I don’t know anyone who would turn down a sweet and cheesy carb on their special day.
One thing I love about this dish is how simple it is to make yet the presentation is so pretty and elevated you’ll definitely make your mama proud.
Strawberry Mint & Mascarpone Cheese Toast
Ingredients:
toast of any kind- I use good sourdough from the bakery
1 package of strawberries
1 container of mascarpone cheese
1 cup of macadamia nuts
fresh mint
salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
honey
butter
Directions:
Step 1: On a cast iron skillet over the stove, heat up some butter and toast your bread. Put 1 tbsp of butter in the skillet on medium heat, then put one piece of toast in at a time and grill each side for 2 minutes. You can bake your bread or even pop it in the toaster if thats what works for you.
Step 2: In a bowl, add your cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle one side of your toast with a little bit of the mixture and take off the stove.
Step 3: Spread mascarpone all over one side of your toast.
Step 4: Nicely dice up your strawberries into triangles or chop them up and put on top of the toast.
Step 5: Chop up a couple of macadamia nuts and and sprinkle ontop.
Step 6: Chop your mint and sprinkle on top.
Step 7: Drizzle honey all over.
Step 8: Finish the toast with a pinch of salt.
Step 9: Repeat all these steps until desired toast amount is done.
Step 10: ENJOY!!
