Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

It is officially fall and I am so excited to kick off the season with a perfect fall treat.

Whats more fall then Pumpkin? Tis the season for pumpkin everything right?

My dear friend loves hosting and cooking just as much as I do and she is always coming up with the cutest table-scapes and treats for our girlfriend gatherings.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Every Tuesday a couple of us gals get together for girls night, to catch up, eat good food and just pour out the week. It’s probably one of my favorite days and we all trade off hosting each week. Last week Landry hosted and kicked off our fall gals gathering with pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Probably one of the best cookies I’ve ever had and It got me so excited for all things in the fall season!

This 3 ingredient pumpkin cookie recipe will be a hit for all fall gatherings. Bring a batch to the host as a thank you, or display on your dessert table and you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients:

1 can pumpkin puree

1 box yellow cake mix

1 bag mini semi sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup regular milk chocolate chips

** If you want a little extra spice, I made them a second time and added a few extra spices that I think add even more warmth.

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Directions:

Step 1: Pre-heat your oven to  350 degrees

Step 2: In a medium size mixing bowl add your pumpkin puree and your cake mix. Mix together with a spatula until well combined.

Step 3: Add your chocolate chips and fold them into the batter.

Step 4: On a nonstick pan place ice cream scoop-sized dollops of cookie dough on your sheet pan. These cookies will feel very sticky and doughy and that is normal.

Step 5: Bake for 13-15 minutes

Step 6: Let the cookies cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Step 7: ENJOY!!
